Yeah, I know, I know, it's been quite a while.
Hey, what am I to do? I've been hell busy, what with all the assignments!!
But now I'm going to get serious. I'm starting a new blog now on traffic and driving in our city of lights. Best of luck to me, since no-one wants to be taught nowadays, heck they don't even bother to go and get their license.
Well, here goes, off to the new blog...

PayPerPost check
Ok, so here we go. Test for the PPP, PayPerPost site.
The eagle recovers around a mark!
I wonder what that quote means. The eagle recovers? Recovers what? Around a mark? What mark? Surely not the marks we get in examinations for writing every bit of nonsense that makes sense to us.

Well, yes, I know I'm blabbering right now, but the thing is I'm upset, sad and agitated at the same time. And I talk a lot when I'm this way.

Times and Dates
Well, I just saw my headings with the dates and the real dates.
Sheesh! Talk about time difference! It says 16th December where its 17th here. Any ideas how I can change that? We're a day ahead of blogger's local time.
And an hour as well.

17th December 2009
Well, ASA again everyone.
So, where was I?
Oh yeah, my friends. Well, Mazzy is a good kid, but at times he can get quite irritating. Then we have Hira. She's a friend from office. She's a gemini like me, and a good girl. Mazzy is a bookworm like me and that's the main reason we became such fast friends. I love reading novels. Right now I'm reading "The Winner Stands Alone" by Paulo Coelho.
I'm into multimedia as well. I took admission in Arena Multimedia recently and they're giving one heck of a time. Well, it is enjoyable but then the assignments are pretty serious, and if you can't do them, you want to bang your head on something. Something very hard. And thats what I've been trying to avoid for the last two nights.
Oh, well.
Well, now the intro is done, let me tell you what I've opened this blog for.
I'm a writer, no not a published one, just a hobbyist. But for a hobbyist I've got too many stories on my hand. And I want to share those stories. They're all incomplete except 3 or 4, and I want to complete them with your help. You'd have to give me enough pressure to finish them up. And I really hope you like them, 'cos it's a genre not common in Pakistan.
Oh, yeah, before the rest of my friends gang up on me, let me just mention them at least. Well, I have Ahmed Fawad, available anytime to chat and irritate, there's his message again; then Osama, Sidra, Ramla, Samra, Savita, Imran, Shehla, Rabia, Beenish, Abbas, Tabassums (I knew two), Samreen, Sumreen, Sambreen, (I did actually know all of those spellings), Nazish, then we also have UK, his wife, Sana, and a whole lot of others whom I just met once in my life and they were very good to me. Sorry for forgetting your names, but I do remember you all. Really.
Well, that's it right now. I'd start posting my stories ASAP now, and I'd post the complete ones first, so I can get an audience first. =)
Till then ciao!

Welcome and Hello 16th December 2009
Assalam u Alaikum visitors and friends, and welcome to my webpage/ website/ blog
I really didn't know what to write about as first post so I thought I'd tell an experience.
Don't worry, it's not going to be a literature lecture. ;)
This is my first blog and first post. But it's not my first website. When I was in my Bachelors in Computer Science, in 2003, we were all exposed to HTML. We were taught the code, and in fact we enjoyed it as opposed to our programming course. I made quite a colorful website using that code. I posted it on geocities, a service by Yahoo! which closed recently.
In fact I was just thinking I'd just transfer the pages from there to here and make a few changes to at least get a basic blog.
But when I went to my email today, I found that they had closed, and in fact had sent me two or more warning messages as well. Well, all's well that ends well. Let's see how this ends up. Let's see if the same thing will happen with this blog, or if I can manage it better.
Hopefully it'd be the latter. I'm planning quite a few things for this blog, but am not sure how to take further steps, what with my 9-630 job and my multimedia classes from 7-9 I don't get much time for anything else.
Let me say a few things for all you new people. Please don't take it as rudeness, I'm reserved anyway. I don't want friendship requests. But as visitors, you all are welcome to comment and I'd try my best to reply as well.
Okay a little about myself now. I'm a 25 year old spinster living in Pakistan. I live in Society, Karachi. I hate shopping except for shoes and accessories. I don't care much for mushy things like lipsticks and makeup, but love eye liner. I have 6 very special friends, first of whom is Amy, living in Lahore, getting married in January. Second is Nido, a dentist, living here, but far from reach because of conveyance problem. Was hoping to meet her this weekend, but have another plan now, unfortunately. Haven't met Nido since two years and Amy I met way back in 2003 I think. Then came my university life and with it came a few important people. One was Bushra a very close friend. We're still in contact, but we met on our convocation last, this 28th of Feb. Then came Shag. She's a jolly childish kind of girl and I love her like a younger sister. She has a home full of ladies and is quite sharp. But she's careless and doesn't care for herself much. She made the last year at university the best of my educating years. We played badminton and did every stupid thing I couldn't have done alone. Then came Mazzy, a cute little kid who hates being called a kid. =D
PS I posted this post incomplete 'cos I got work to do and may forget to post. More later.
